Hey all,

New version inbound. Here's the relatively small changelog:

Changelog for v.66/v.12.2

- Integrated AI improvements and dll changes provided by Ilteroi
- Integrated trait functions for 'combat bonus if less population than enemy' provided by Jamforce - may use this for Ethiopia in lieu of current trait.
- Reduced unhappiness difficulty in the early game, but increased curve (slightly)
- Added gamespeed-based boosts to initial happiness (+5 happiness at start for Epic, +10 for Marathon) to help with early game unhappiness due to growth
- Stonehenge now provides a free Shrine in the city where it is built
- Fixed bugs related to CSD, CS influence, and Great Diplomats
- Fixed text errors and other assorted bugs
- New version of CSD (25.1) with new artwork for Great Diplomat (modern), Foreign Office, and Scrivener.
- Compatible with EUI 1.24c (using compatibility files provided by Stackpointer)
- Github Repository updated
Note: if you are not using CSD, Health and Plague, or Events and Decisions, please delete the respective files from the Mod Compatibility folder in the Community Balance Patch before starting your game! And, as always, clear your cache after you install the mods!

New versions online as of 9:10pm, EST, 11/16.

I seem to be getting the missing dependencies for the community patch ver 66. When i check it it says it depends on Game versions between 1 and 1. That right? seems different?

NM got it fixed.
 
I don't know if this is by design but in my current game with this build it is virtually impossible for me to trade luxuries away for gold/turn (playing emperor).

AI will still trade strategic resources though.

I imagine the AI had a city on the other side of your land? Either that, or the AI was 'fleeing' from something, only to move into a more dangerous location. Either way, this is a hard one to pin down. Call them refugees instead? :)

I have the current Community mix (sans H&P) with a bunch of PickNMix addins.

1. Getting error for CS quests CityStateHelper instead of quest description (I should move this to bugs when I get a chance.)
2. On Emperor/Marathon, I am lucky to be offered 2gpt for a luxury and I mean super lucky. (not sure if bug or things have just gotten "real".)
3. I get offered gifts, but when trying to accept they say it isn't fair. (had a girlfriend like that.)
4. PickNMix doesn't seem to fully Vest/Activate.
a. CS Overseas territories grant privileges but doesn't exclude other civs from going through (Mil units that is)
b. Smart AI - Explorer AI has got back to that frozen can't go forward can't go back around barbarians. But it sure will jump in the goddamn water when pirate are right there.
5. I do have one other mod (which is a nod to all the mods CPP has replaced) - Promotions expanded that no longer activates, but it had a bribe promotion that kinda was OvPw so not a biggie.

I can tell you that this patch is the reason I still play so this is awesome. I will try to develop some of these to see if they are full bugs or just mods that are out of date.
 
Is it me or is the Courthouse really, really expensive compared to other buildings. I have an empire of 6 cities and conquered two AI cities. The courthouse was by far the most expensive building: 70 turns for one of the conqured cities and 2.000+ gold to rush buy...

I like the idea of a high rush buy price and the general concept of scaling the price with #cities, but this is two much IMHO.

Next patch: Reduced Courthouse cost by two. :)

1. Sounds like you aren't using CSD - you need to delete the CSD support files from the 'Mod Compatibility' folder and shift around the lua (see the 'How to Install' thread). Suggestion: use CSD! :)

2. The AI evaluates Luxuries based on their current happiness value in the current version (i.e. 1 happiness instead of 4, as in vanilla). I've bumped this up by +1 to make them trade luxes more normally.

3.) The AI can be wonky. This is because the AI will (sometimes) offer a gift before seeing how much they actually like you and/or your proximity, thus they 're-think' their offer as they're giving it. Think of it as a tease, I guess.

5.) Not sure I understand. Promotion mods are going to have a tough time with the CBP, as I nuke the promotions XML and start over.

Strange, I'm using CSD and get the same error...

Suggestion: use CSD! :) Using CSD (love CSD) Not sure what quests though the icon is different at different times. Do we need the whoward mod to enable the csd option still?

I've been using the PickNMix mod that creates workers or settlers when Razing. So it has been easier to raze and rebuild. If I don't get a settler out of it (or they are the wrong religion) I tend to resettle with a pioneer or settler. It seems you have to rebuild everything anyways so all you lose is religious building. plus the land is still improved.
 
Very odd. What particular quest is the error firing for?

I had this same error happen to me yesterday, using CSD and (for the first time) EUI. For most quests it was working fine, but I think I got the error with the "CS is holding a forum" quest. (The icon was definitely the CS influence handshake icon, but I'm not 100% sure if I remember the quest correctly.)
