crash bug (not a report)

I'm sure others have hit this, but I was wondering if anyone can get past the crash. I've tried reloading the save and doing things differently, but it doesn't help. I've now crashed three times on the same end of turn. Anyone figured out a way around it?

Oh well, at least it made me go to bed at 5:30am

Try changing to 2D-view for a while, that helped for me. Maybe save to a new savegame(probably didn't matter but I did that too). Not that it has stopped crashing, but it does it more seldom now(like each 20-30 turn - I am after turn 400 btw). I actually think my PC is having performance issues after a lenghty session(6h+).

2D didn't help. Crash is very reproducible.

I notice the game is only using three-quarters of a GB of RAM. That is pretty good actually.

tl;dr version of that link - the devs have savegames with the bug, they are working on it

I notice that the people there are using Win7 64-bit, same as I am. Might be related to that.
