Crash during Game

I have a Windows XP with an Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor with 1.5ghz speed, 64mb Mobility Radeon 9200, 1.25gb RAM.

I play on low globe quality, medium render, and high movie, in Window Mode.

During my games (sometimes during choosing my leader/civ) my game just freezes up, and I can't move the mouse. Soon after, I hear a "beep/click" and I have to manually shut off my computer.

I'm pretty sure it's the graphics cards fault, but is there any way I can fix this?
Thanks ahead of time. :)

I'm fine with playing with crashes if I can't fix this though. :D (Saves!)

Is this "beep/click" coming through the speakers, or from the case itself?

By the case itself I mean from inside. An internal speaker of some description. If it's coming through the speakers, it's most likely a software issue, whereas if it's a beep from inside, then chances are it's a piece of hardware failing.

Dunno if this is the right place to put this, but THANK YOU to whomever suggested u never save more than 5 games. I never save more than 3 now, and my game never crashes ... I was desperate b4.
To whomsoever (and I can't find him/her) made this suggestion, a thousand blessings upon yr head.:)

Thanks.

But I get the errors:
INF error
Video driver (I think, don't get remember) not found

Setup was unable to complete installation.
Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA drive before running setup

I guess this is because the manufacturer of you laptop (sony) is too cheap to pay them the license fees so they don't support their laptops (usually the manufacturer of a laptop is the one doing the driver updates for it but they stop the instant they sell the last one of that line - which usually means that laptop owners are stuck with obsolete driver versions :gripe:

Well, I'll guess I'll have to live with this problem...

I'm fine with that though, I guess ..
