Crashing at different times

I hope someone might be able to help me with this, I hope this is the right place to ask this, I did post this in the actual mods thread, but it appears as if the mod is no longer in action, I may be wrong though, anyway, I keep getting crashes at different times, I have no way of knowing what is causing it, and therefore need and would appreciate the help.

I am using version 3.01 and the mod I am using is, the Regiments & Ethnic Diversity v1.20

Admittedly I am not sure what version of Bts is needed for this mod, as I could not see anything metioned.

I have tried two different driver versions for my card which is a GeForce 8800GTX 768MB, I have 2 gig DDR2, and a Core 2 Duo @2.40Ghz. (oh and Vista 64-Bit)

I have tried all that I know to get it to stop crashing but nothing works, including the new patches available, but I just reinstalled it and did'nt patch to try it at 3.01 but its still the same.

If anyone else uses this mod or might know what else I can/should do I'd appreciate it.

I more info is needed then please let me know and I'll try to oblige.

Its official I am a fool, as I did not install my game correctly at all, what was I thinking? don't answer that, I went and installed all three at once and then updated Bts and no wonder it crashed all the time, so this time I did it the right way, Civ IV and then update 1.74 and no problems, plays fine, admittedly only a few turns I played but fine so far

Now going to install the other 2 but this time updating each one first, sorry for the wasted thread.
