Crashing Issue

Hi, I have started to get this issue where my game would freeze for about 30-60 seconds while it is switching turns between the AI, and after the duration, the game would continue running normally for 5 seconds; and then my laptop would shut itself down.

It is definitely not overheating because I have a cooler and a temperature monitor, and it isn't getting too hot. I was playing on a large map with 6 AI and 14 city states, (whole map isn't revealed). My RAM is 4.00 GB, and I have all of my settings on low.

Can anyone help with this issue?

About how hot is it getting?

It is usually between 65-80'c

That is getting pretty hot, but I don't have a lap top, so it might not be as hot for them.

Still, you're laptop might have a shutdown temperature set, to make it shut down when it reaches a certain temperature.

Or it could just be a problem with the game.

I used to experience shut-downs due to temperature a while back when I ran really heavy games. The game would actually spontaneously turn off at a random point; whereas this issue occurs continuously at a random time while the AI takes their turn, and also the game appears to freeze beforehand which didn't happen when I used to experience these.
