Hey there,
I created a few Great Wonders but I do not see them in game. There are no pre-reqs and I do not require any particular resources. I tried to create a test small wonder and that displays. Am I missing something?

FYI, these were created with the Civ3Edit Version 2.57 and my scenario is based on the Play The World mod.

The question is, what you mean with "not in the game". The created GW doesn´t appear in the city view until these graphics are changed, too -what can become a "bizzare" job because of the programming for that feature.

If you talk about the game without the city view, if you have missed something, the game even in PTW should crash. So the most possible is, that you gave your GWs one or more features, that are only enabled, when some special conditions are set. Resources and perequisites are some of them. Others could be techs and options like "city-size 3" or the "Hidden Palace"-flag.

I know this wonder is practically cheating, however, I've been playing this game for years and I just want to overwhelm the map on Deity!! lol...Do you see anything wrong with the setup of this wonder?

I had to throw in a civilopedia entry from another wonder, could that be it?

There are two possible problems with it:
  1. Reduces Corruption under the heading Wonders and Small Wonders makes it work like the Forbidden Palace of unmodded Civ3, so it can't be built unless you have enough number of cities (which varies depending on map size and more).
  2. Bombard Defense under the heading Combat Values makes it work like the City Wall of unmodded Civ3, i.e. any value over 0 makes the building buildable only in cities of size level 1 (in unmodded Civ3 a city with a population no higher than 6).

Now that Wolfart reminded me, I had that problem once. My fourth "Forbidden Palace type" never showed until I figured out the solution of changing the optimal city number.
