I enjoy culture. The trees are pretty good, in general. But there's no culture specific victory.

I presume it would be dull to steal the Civ V cultural victory ( pre or post expansion.) But maybe there's some creative culture victory that would add variety to the game.

Honestly, the Culture Victories in BNW and the one before it were both extremely dull.

BNW's is basically about staffing a select few specialist buildings with no further effort beyond killing cultural civs and building some Wonders.

I'm not sure how a better one could be designed.

The main way I'm thinking was decrease importance of guild great people and increase importance of archaeology digs by cutting the theming bonuses in half and having the secret arch sites yield double that of normal ones.

I'm not a big fan of the BNW System (or the old one), but if I was patching it up I'd add a tourism penalty for more cities, mirroring the culture penalty for new policies.

As in, wide players have to fend of higher tourism values.

Its silly that a sprawl of cities with a little culture in each of them is a strong defense against tourism.

It's also rediculous that The Great Firewall wonder to counter The Internet is available long before it - logically it should require The Internet tech to be researched.

As-is it's a cheesy way to negate that last bonus a cultural player may need for that victory.

This is a decent way to do things, but the question is would transferring this ability (or something like it) to the Explorer overload the Explorer in terms of role / functionality?

Being able to do something cultural with Expeditions does seem like a nice route to go down to at least open up Culture-related things in BE.

Also, I want an Alien Skeleton hanging in my office, thanks.

It would be nice if there were more ways to use artifacts, like if some could be used as museum exhibits with lighter study.

Honestly I'd like it if there were many combinations of what is possible with individual artifacts, encouraging some players to hoard them and find the best ways to fuse them for their plans.
