- Retake Constatinople and all other former Greek possesions
- Ensure that no other countries have a name you consider insulting to your territorial integrity
- Run a huge deficit for numerous years, and then have your people take to the streets and protest aganst the country that just saved your ass from going bankrupt.
 
Control Constantinople by [some short time after spawn] would be workable. The rest is... difficult, though. Modern Greece just hasn't done much.
Make it the whole of Asia Minor, since in RFC you can't control the coast without controlling the hinterland, anyway.

Disclaimer: I'm strongly opposed to including modern Greece as a separate civilization, but since I'm 100% sure that it won't be implemented, I'm fine with some hypothetical talk.

I don't speak German so I can't read the second link - and I have no clue as to what you're trying to say with the first. Elaborate?

I really have no intentions of spending my time discussing that topic, if you have another opinion than me that is your right, and well that's about it for me. I was not trying to start any political discussion, that appeared clear to most people in here.

Is it even possible to do the third UHV condition for Mexico? How am I supposed to get to like 20 pop when Mexico City is surrounded by crappy cities and hills? XD
I thought about city states, but mexico shouldn't really be encouraged to adopt city states and that would completely screw my economy and stability (see: first UHV condition)

Also, doesn't the capital count in the first goal? I had to found 2 cities between mountains because the capital wasn't counted in central america XD
A weird bug happened and the capital was invisible.

But in the end it was a lot of fun playing Mexico...it was cool to spank the USA for once :spank:


On a side note: atzecs should really be more prone to collapse...I loaded three american games and every time they were still alive. In the end I had do manually collapse them to play as Mexico :p
 
I don't know, I haven't played the Mexican UHV yet. But I suppose it'll be hard without all farms and Cereal Industry + imported grain.

I agree that the Aztecs should collapse more often.
 
New commit is up. Stuff that happened since the last one:
- AI civs receive a worker and a defender when founding a colony
- the AI now properly targets independent cities that are in their war target area
- rework of the resurrection mechanic: more accurate starting techs, respawned civs receive an offensive army, city buildings are restored according to era
- recently spawned civs don't have to pay unit upkeep so they don't disband their starting stack

How about stability hit in ~1521 when the Spanish conquered the Aztecs?
