I am pretty new to the game as I bought it about 2 weeks ago. I am playing almost only MP with a couple of friends.
We wanted to play a game on a custom made map, 3 human players, 4 AIs and 12-14 City states. I know it is not possible to use starting locations in MP, but we only wanted to create a decent map and play on it.
So I created one map with the map creation tool, continents, standard, legendary start and the map builder created it. I kept randomising till I had one we liked. We all put it in our maps folder and we started the game.
Now the issues: usually, with legendary start, any civ shhould start with some resorces nearby, which did not happend. In addition to this, city states spawed twice 1 hexagon away from my start position and in a position with no reasources at all.
Is thre a way to use a custom map in MP?
