Custom maps getting altered

I am using the map editor which came with the game. When I start a game using one of my own custom maps, the resources are not where they are supposed to be. Everything else is fine.

Any idea how to make the game use the map I created as is?

Did you set the resource seed (Tools menu or s-key)? The default is random.

No, I didn't realize I needed to do that. Works like a champ now.
