    Code:
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN
Checksum mismatch while updating 'C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond
     the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN\trunk\Assets\CvGameCoreDLL.pdb':
       expected: afdcfd43bde27f2ad649471d86428c62
         actual: a87422a46a1af60ce9d40034f16db90f
Try a 'Cleanup'. If that doesn't work you need to do a fresh checkout.
Whenever I try to update to any SVN Revision of C2C i see this error.
The game is defunct; I have many error windows with texts relating to errors in XML files.
I give try the non-SVN old Caveman2Cosmos v33.7 and mod in this version loads without problems.

    You did two errors here:
First: it can't be in documents (not in users\<username>).
    Second: It must be Caveman2Cosmos
<Game folder (in my case its Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete)>\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos

Third: Delete old versions of mod before getting SVN, as old files will be here - a lot of files were added and deleted as stuff change especially with your EXTREMELY old version.

Fourth: Delete cache since you probably played vanilla or other mods.
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\My Games\Beyond the Sword
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword
Its in both of those folders.

XML errors are here because you did everything wrong that you could do wrong when installing/updating mod.

Especially the third thing raxo says. Do a clean-up, or just checkout to a new empty folder.

    Thanks for suggestions.

    I want to add that:
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond
    the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN\trunk\
    was symlinked to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos

What helped was a deleting the whole SVN copy and creating a new from scratch.

So C:\Program Files (x86)\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos is where you have mod, and
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN\trunk\ is shortcut?

Why even you need shortcut to here?
That \trunk\ is useless too as if you did something wrong when doing checkout.
There is no need for symlinks and placing mods in My Games folder.

Also if you have mod in My games folder, then patch for some files may be too long and they won't load/

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos
    was symbolic link to:
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN\trunk\

    now
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos
    is symbolic link to:
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN

    I realize now that placement:
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN
is not optimal but at least the location does not need administrative privileges to be written.

I think that something corrupted my local SVN copy, hence the problems.

If now it does work (and was working before) this means that BTS does not see:
    C:\Users\KonradK\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword\MODS\Caveman2CosmosSVN
    and it sees:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos
instead (symbolic link is transparent for the program).
