cyclic redundancy check .CAB2

This is for thoose who have the CD/DVD version..

as it seems many of you are having problem while installing disc 1 and 2...

Well... me and few others ave the DVD version with only one DVD ,and once you begin the installation you come up with this cyclic redundancy check .CAB2 (i get this message in my italian language, but the problem is clear)

Does anybody know what to do???
I'm next to give this game back to shop!!!

If you get CRC errors from the same set of disc's on different PCs, you got a bad set, and its a return to Vender/seller for replacement. A number have have surfaced in the last 2/3 weeks - usually CRC errors or "catastrophic failure" errors. Both error types if repeated on different PCs are disc exchange.

It looks as though a bad batch got out there somewhere, and you may find more than one return to get a good set - its happened to others. The game is fine, what looks to have happened is whoever burned off those discs let loose a bad batch/slipped through quality checks.

It is possible that some are in need of a Firmware Upgrade - you can download updated firmware fromthe Drive Manufacturer WebSite - make sure you get the right firmware for the Exact Drive model or you will have problems.... its rare(ish) but it does happen.

Odds on its disc exchange ..

well, my english is not that perfect but I almost understood...
I sent email to the 2k games and they asked me to report my directx scan or whatever.. I did... they'll let me know...

anyway

as it seems it's not only my problem, but it's strange: the game is original but i bought it in a Blockbuster store as a pre-owned game. I checked my game on different hardware and its always error... The shop is going to get it back I know them and they won't argue aboutit...

As you say I have to download latest drivers for my ATI RADEON 9600 (256 ram)?? wher do i find them its so hard to understand in the official website...
