i was looking for the thread i started before about patching the d2d version of the game but could not find it. My problem was it was my first time to patch civ and it was for v1.52. I got the error that it cannot run because i had 1.0.00.
Well I finally found the fix hope this helps anyone who is experiencing the same thing.
First off you would need the first patch 1.09 i think anyway you can search for it in file planet. now after patching just run 1.52 and it should work just fine.
