Announcement: I noticed some Antalyan cities were mysteriously wiped off the map when I added the 'great canals'. You may have notcied disembodied city names in the northern part. I'll fix it as soon as I can get the upload window to work.

Also, official orders deadline is roughly 22 hours away. But again, this is a first easy update, missing orders will not be too big a deal.

OOC: We were under the impression, given by Daft, that there are still considerably guarantees of defense among the Thulean nations, as ineffective as they may or may not be.

Apologies for this and many other confusing things.

Yes, all the post-Thulean nations are considered 'unofficial' allies at this time, as they are helping each other maintain the same trade routes basically.

Increased trade is a stupid and meaningless thing to say, we're thuleans, of course we already trade to the utmost that the fabric of the land allows. Do you propose a restructuring of tariffs, a harmonization of financial affairs, a new set of custom rules, a sharing of records, protection of trade fleets...what?

We naturally agree to alliances of mutual protection, but reserve the right to discuss whatever we please thank you very much (directed at Asturias there), and the right declare a state government anathema if it engages in agressive action expecting the Yssosphere to bail it out.

@Daft: unfortunately being pretty wasted right now means orders tomorrow, as making sure the above was legiable took far tooo long .

The Asturian League has in no way infringed on your right to "discuss whatever we please," and we have not even said we dislike your questioning as to our intentions. In fact it has helped us more clearly state our position. What we will not tolerate is meaninglessly aggressive messages. We thank you in advance for leaving them out of any future diplomacy.

It's typical at this stage of development that things would obviously take longer, sailing ships, moving troops, researching new technologies, we just lack the fast pace technology of the modern era to accomplish anything in a years time, which is why we should focus on much grander social issues in a more long-term mind frame instead.

Apologies that I got online later than usual tonight. Replies have now been sent. Im afraid I can't be online much compared to other mods due to my lack of decent internet. I will accept orders till tommorrow night (about 23 hours from time of this post). People who already sent can send revisions if they wish.

I've already started work on the update, but I'll keep mainly to NPC stuff and random events etc. Update should be ready by thursday night then.

Well, the old version of this NES would go through several centuries between each 'Boring Time'. About 250 200 years were covered in about 10 turns. I want to slow it down, but I think one year would be too little. I basically agree with what Krimzon said - It could take over a year for a large fleet to get organised and sail somewhere far away, etc.

No they don't. IC = Industrial Credits, or the industrial output of your nation. EP = Economic Points, or how much you can spend depending on the total worth of your entire economy (not just industrial output). SP = Spending points, which in this case is the combined collaborative efforts of your nation. EC = I assume economic credits which is similar to EP.
