Is there any document that contains the full list of wonders and its characteristics while not playing the game?
Just wondering so I could check it before playing

    ...Kinda?

    https://github.com/dguenms/Dawn-of-Civilization/blob/develop/Assets/XML/Text/National Wonders.xml
These three pages should contain everything you need to know, but it's not exactly the most readable. Wonders in the first link starts at the Great Sphinx, with national wonders starting at the Trading Company.

:( this is always so much work. The worst part of doing a new release.

    Thank you for the explanations!

Will it help if I overwrite the save on the same playthrough? The congress happens before year 1940s, the savefile are around 1960s.

Unfortunately not, I need a save from before the congress so I can see what is happening. Thanks regardless, and keep your eye out to let me know in case it happens again.

Recently playing as the Byzantines, I noticed none of my units are flipping to the Arabian side upon rejecting to give away my cities. Besides, they don't have any units to conquer my cities in Mesopotamia.
I also noticed that in one particular game the Seljuks stack army didn't spawn on my territory so they never declared war on me. Is there any condition that could prevent this event from triggering? (They were very much alive and powerful already).

    Playing on Paragon/Marathon

Ok so the Steam Deck just got announced and it sounds cool. We get to play steam games on a handheld device. Do you think civ 4 will be able to play smoothly on the new device? It sounds very cool to think we may be now be able to play RFC DOC in a handheld device.

I'd be surprised if it couldn't, considering its low for the modern era required specs.

Interesting, I haven't looked into that. I guess it has to be a handheld running Windows?

The dev said it's running on a steam os (whatever that means) but probably most games will work on the handheld device.

It's basically a more powerful handheld only nintendo Switch without any of the design flaws.

Interesting. I assume they must be running a virtual Windows in some way. That can mean a lot of things for Civ4.

My first thought is that the game is quite memory intensive and that may be a limiting factor on a phone.

But honestly I know very little about phone hardware even before whatever emulated environment Steam is running comes in.

Steam Deck will use SteamOS which is based on Linux (previously Debian, currently Arch Linux) and it will use Proton to run Windows games. Proton is Valve's fork of Wine.
According to an unofficial Proton database, BTS "runs perfecly out of the box" via Proton. (I never tried using Proton myself.)

Well judging from experiences here that's a pretty optimistic claim.

The thought of playing BTS with this mod while on the go rather sounds thrilling.
