    When I mean slower I mean C2C slower. My usual gamespeed is epic-marathon, but what I'm referring here is to 1500+ turns games
    Edit: let me rephrase: why we are using the current speed and not one slower? This is just curiosity, as putting a slower speed mean changing how the mod plays

    Are you aware that you can change the speed of the mod? In the setup screen, you can choose between Normal, Epic, and Marathon. Large amounts of the RFC code and vanilla code were re-written by embryodead so that everything automatically adjusts.

    EDIT: Sorry, you clarified that you do know in the later post.

    is there a way to implement new speeds with different parameters? like military production is kept the same but technology advancement is decreased etc. For example if there was a speed that allowed me to have more units in the same 'tech period' than already implemented speeds, some players would choose that to have more battles.

    Current marathon also decreases the unit production which in the end just affects the unit movement speed.

    Sadly probably an implementation of the said game speed would be very cumbersome since it would affect the spawning civs too in the case of RHYE type mods.

    No, it would be very easy. In fact, it's probably so easy that you could do it by opening the game speed file and editing it yourself.

    But wouldn't the speed of unit production mean there'd need to be some tweaking of the starting units to make up for the higher comparative unit production as KeeperOT7Keys stated?

    Can someone please tell me why did Spain get free in this save? You will see that Spain is still my capitulated vassal in this turn , but the moment you press end of turn my Muslim SPanish vassal declared war on me out of blue. It did cost me very hard fought for victory, because I was assuming I am done with Iberia and sent all my forces to fight Seljuks. :sad:

    I was reading old posts from the start of v1.15 when I saw this:

    Are the culture-based effects of these buildings already implemented? I don't see them in the Civilopedia.

    I see, thanks... I was just hoping me being Solid and them being Muslim will be enough to forget about Andalusia and focus on Seljuks. Frankly they feel like new Mongols -- more numerous ans spawning in more places right next to your cities. Insane amount of units especially in Persia. The good news is you just have to control 1 city in Persia -- Seljuks considered minor civ :pat:

    Actually, real Mongols never came after my Baghdad, like Hulagu did in 1258. I wonder why, because I always see AI Mongolia invading Middle East controlled by AI civs. Maybe because I was solid?

    I don't think there's scripted Mongol invasion event for Arabia anymore. There's a flip in Central Asia but that's it.

    I hope because we want to keep it relatively simple -- there are so many rules and caveats that it is impossible to navigate through the features sometimes! Game is getting too complicated.

    Also the base +50% was strong enough in my opinion.

    If you have this building in a city you get more money the more culture it has accumulated.

    ^Is that really such a complex concept to understand?
