If you don't mind I'd like to contribute by revising the GP names list for Korea over the weekend.
    Which file should I overwrite?

There are quite a few people in Korea who enjoy RFC DoC (though we usually call it RFCD among ourselves),
But the GP names list has always raised questions because quite a lot of people seem... misplaced.

You can find the list of GP in GreatPeople.py.

It's great if you would! I don't think anyone has ever reviewed the Korean GP list and it's perfect for a Korean person to do it.

    Exactly this ^^^^

Also, I beat the UHV if anyone cares... Won't be Fresol-esque, but I will probably post a guide at some point (even though it's pretty straightforward).

Oh, and the current 'limited number of cities that a resource can give happiness to' is a bit weird.
I suspect that they prioritize cities with bigger pop?
I got cities of 15pop with 10 surplus happiness and 10pop cities with ~5 anger.
I forgot to save screenshots though, sorry about that.

Priority goes to the cities with higher culture.

Is there a reason the possibility of building a fort on certain neutral territory disappears once it falls under your control? Like, if no one controls the land, the fort construction option is available, but as soon as my culture encompasses the tile it's not an option.

Could be a bug, I have no idea what's happening there. Do you have a save?

So, after certain dates, some collapsing AIs will never respawn back, freeing their core area. This is the case for many ancient civs of course, but when it comes to the late game, what's the criteria for having this happen to other civs one could consider 'modern' nowadays?

Most glaring example I can think of are the mesoamerican respawns: Mexico, Colombia, and Peru (though that's just the Inca in disguise). If they collapse in the late game, something which is quite common, they will not come back, and their territory becomes fair game for a resurgent Spanish Empire. Shouldn't they keep a chance to resurface later, like the other modern and old world civs? Or what about the Mali and Congo?
A contrasting case could be the Khemer after the Thai spawn, their core in Burma remains active yet I don't recall seeing them respawn no matter how the Thai are faring.
And one final case I can think of is Tibet. Their 'game over' collapse date is very early, but weren't they independent in the XX century before the PRC conquest?

Question: For some reason, if anyone controls Vladivostok, Russia auto-flips it at a certain time. What triggers that? Does it also happen if the human player controls Russia?

The trigger is Russia discovering Railroad, but it is only for the AI. Also the city is not supposed to flip, Russia should only receive conquerors (though I may be wrong?). A player owned city shouldn't just flip due to an AI event. I will double check.

I definitely will auto-flip from a player, last time I had a city there.

I've downloaded new developing map from Git's map-branch: and I really LOVE it:) #AmazingMap
By the way I found a geografic issue in the core of Russian Lands
Ribinsk' Lake (so called Rybinsk' SEA) is not natural lake like others. It appered only in 1930's - into the period of ''Stalin's Modernization'', so it's the artificial source of fresh water made by Soviet Perhaps there is compromise-desition: may be there is some sence to add White Lake (it's a little bit north than the Rybinsk' SEA)
P.S. Where is OIL in the Western Siberia/Yamal/Chuckotka/Sahalin: Russia + U.S. + Saudi Arabia are world OIL leaders: so they really nedd HAVE a lot of OIL

I don't think we really need such mechanic because there is Congress and historical areas - generally, I think it's enough:)
Also there is the same trigger for Americans - after Rail-Roads they will colonise the Western Сoast or declare WAR to "old owners": I think it's so cool conseption and I have no idea why only AI use it:)))

There are multiple maps to discuss and make suggestions for the new map. I am fairly sure Finbros's suggestions for Russia have already addressed the things you mentioned.

OMG:) What's going with American GREAT PLAINS:)
First of all, I mean that current version of Great Plains is empty - so huge area and really few recources:(
May be cows/horses will apper in late eras for example in the mid of 18 century?:)

I am fairly certain that these maps do not include resources that spawn dynamically, which would include the cows and horses that populate the Great Plains following the Colombian Exchange. There's another thread (Resource Suggestions or something like that) which addresses suggestions regarding dynamic resource spawns.

It's not nearly as funny as you think.

The map is from 3000 BC before any resource spawns. Really just read the threads that I already pointed out to you. I will consider further discussion of the new map off topic in this thread.

When I played China some weeks ago (not last version, but 1.15), *Vladivostok (Haishenwai, or what) flipped from me without any notification.

As Russia, I created five Great Statesmen and placed them on the capitals of five countries I converted to communism. When the moment was right and three of them had "Pleased" relations with me, and two had "Friendly", I used their power, and it had little to no effect.
They still had hard feelings for trading or vassalizing their worst enemies or me having a different religion. Is that intended?

Last time I checked Great Statesmen increased relations by five points. Shouldn't they move to the next higher level of relations?

In the meantime, where can I change how strong its effect is?
