Dead Leaders No Longer Walk

It's a minor thing, of course, but it used to drive me nuts that leaders whose civilizations had been exterminated long ago were still listed on the screen. "Montezuma is furious at you... bla bla... CAN'T DECLARE WAR!!!" Now, if a civ ceases to exist, so does the information on the screen. I like that. Though the leaderhead could of course be kept in, with a red cross over and the leader drinking a margarita or doing something similar and loking very grumpy.

I always imagine they live somewhere in exile after their empires are destroyed, like the german emperor after WW1

Personally, in some cases I'd prefer a head on a spike

I don't like it. I want to see them on the graph and see where and when they fell to extinction.

Oh, I agree about that. I want to see them on the graph too, and perhaps also as ex-leaders on that particular information screen. But I am glad they don't show up on the main screen any longer.
