Ok – for now, we're going to go with this theme.
Please post any images here that you think would work.
Screenshots are VERY appreciated showing our attacks and progress in the war on Loco.

    Script:
    Spoiler :

Joe Harker: This is a total bloody disaster. All my Knight's have fled, and we've lost.
JeeJeep: Well, it could be worse.
Joe Harker: Well how could it possibly be worse?
JeeJeep: Aww, cheer up sire. You know what they say…
Joe Harker, What do they say?

    [Singing Starts]
Some things in life are bad, they can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
    When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble… give a whistle!
And this will help things turn out for the best.

And…Always look on the bright side of life…
Always look on the right side of life…

    If life seems jolly rotten
    There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
    Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

    For life is quite absurd
    And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

I think I'll start with this "chorus" Picture for that opening dialogue:

Then move into the war pictures.

    Current War Images:

So please post more screenshots for me to use!
Some of those dramatic ones, where you zoom all close by putting the camera into free-float more (or whatever!) would be great… if anyone that knows how to do that has time?

    Please just post them here.
    Thanks!

    :salute:

I trust we won't be showing the world out juicy details, right? ;)

I'll try to take some shots later on today.

yeah, it is. But I was running short on space. Didn't want to cover up Joe or Killyouall's face :)

I think people will still get the idea.

What you really need is a picture of the Black knight losing, since that is basically how Loco are playing right now. It is just a flesh wound.

Mr. President - why don't you send a PM to our game Mods, ask them to contact LOCO and see if they won't just play a few more turns real quick like. I mean - honestly... a handful of more turns and they're done anyway.

If, as it seems to be the case, Loco is down to 2 turnplayers, there is still no excuse for four, five, six days for them to play a turn. It wouldn't be tough to find someone to take over their game if the original Loco members aren't willing to continue.

When it comes down to it, they should either play thier turns or relinquish. Waiting 3 days to post a 'Hey - can you do it instead' message isn't very responsible. Either you have a system in place to play the turn within the prescribed 24 hours, or you come up with a new system.

It's incredibly disrespectful to the other teams. :gripe:

Sorry it's taken me so long... work just doesn't let up sometimes ;)

Here's a sample of what I was thinking of. I love the way Loco is looking the other way, but there are fleets and fleets of ships lining up on the Horizon. Where's Innovia? Just watching from the side lines

Want more of the same? I'd love to get some with the cannons or grenades actually going off at the moment of the screenshot, but I don't know if I can pull that off. I'll try some more later (assuming I get a chance!)

    That's a really nice screenshot.

Unfortunately it needs a lot of cropping to look good in a YouTube video. Probably best to cut out everything except the grenadier and musketman.

I can also make available the raw images, or do some of the cropping myself. I'd hate to lose the ships on the flanks, though - that's where all the drama and doom is!

    That's really fantastic Peter!!

The more of those, the better!

Dave is right, they'll need to be cropped to show up even half decently in a YouTube video… but I can do that stuff.
As an example, here's what I'd probably use from that shot:

I think that will work very nicely! Keep them coming :D
(and anyone else that wants to contribute! I'll add your names to the credits :) )

OKay, I finally took a slew more of the Battle for Mycenae. I cropped them, and erased some of the battle log screen where applicable.

Took me about 2 hours, but hopefully there are some useful shots. I'll try to do more, but I do have to get some real work done :D

I've uploaded the images into a draft in the team.epsilon gmail account.

EDIT: I've changed my config file to snap .bmp's, so maybe we'll get better quality. Anyone know about those .tga's? I might try those a bit later.

Peter - those are just AMAZING!

Makes me want to do a more dramatic soaring battle music type video!

But I guess that'll make the humor all the more absurd!

Can I request some eye-level type shots of our ships sailing on the sea. I'd like to start with a "sailing to loco" type shot :)

you're the man... these are going to make the video so much better.

General_W, are you able to do zooming effects where a picture grows to fill the screen?
