Debugging Mode?

So, I'm trying to make a mod.

And I keep on getting 'Start Game' in white text on black before I'm kicked back to the main menu.

I know it's because I'm messing something up, a missed resource here and there --- I can get mods to work with very simple things --- but was wondering: is there's a way to see why precisely it isn't starting?

These nested resource lists are not intuitive.
