DEITY CHALLENGE - aiming for sub 200T cultural victory

You really should make a LP or two of your games.

Well I mostly play in my free time at work with game running in background so it will be hard to make good LP
(also sometimes I like think more or calculate something not mention I'm not fluent in english - not entertaining to watch ;))

Some details from my 180T Brazil game.

Because this game was very similar to my previous attempt I will concentrate on differences which allowed me get 30 turns better result:

-not so fast teching AIs (as usually I manage to get tech lead in beginning of renaissance) so I got all wonders I wanted except Globe Theatre

- bribing AIs to war against each other (completely forgot about it earlier) - very powerful tool to lower theirs culture

- religious community instead of swords into plowshares as belief +15% production
boost seems more important in culture game then +15% growth

- Good first resolution in WC - World religion; + hotel and carnival was all I need to win game

Now I will take break from civ for some time but if someone has some good idea on next deity challenge please let me now :)

was it random AI or did you pick favorable opponents? (i guess the bribing got Theo eliminated.) and how many Music bombs?

well done, btw. and by 20 turns. Civ5 Myth Busters would be a good video pod-cast for such challenges, haha.

I picked opponents with high friendship willingness, but since start renaissance I bribed them to wars against each others spending over 50gpt on it, but it were well spent money :)

I had one natural born musician, one from Broadway and one from faith (bought GE earlier to fast build Eiffel Tower)
