As of turn 16, I had the total for the Knights at about 53 shields produced, but they showed up with a granary that turn. As of our turn 17, I had Anarchie with about 51 shields, and they completed their granary then. I'm figuring they each had to chop a forest to complete it when they did, and neither should have had time to complete any units first.
However, I still cannot make things balance. I spent a little time on it yesterday. I don't think the Knights would have had time to move, irrigate, road, move, mine, road, move, and chop in time even with their industrious worker. But if I assume they didn't road or improve one of the other tiles, then I can't make their shields or income work. Something doesn't quite add up, but I can't find the error yet.
Incidentally, considering Anarchie completed their granary in the same number of turns as the Knights, I'm wondering if they are in fact industrious also. I think I decided they were not industrious because they switched to working their bonus wheat earlier than they had to if they are industrious (the irrigation finishes more quickly, so they could have afforded to work a higher commerce tile for one more turn), but they might just have missed that. Anyway, I'm still missing something, and as long as one thing doesn't add up, everything else is in question.
I don't think Essen whipped anything. Their second unit appeared on turn 13, and they lost the citizen on turn 15, and they only have 1 unit now apparently. If they whipped a unit, then they would have had to have lost 2 already, and that seems unlikely.
