anyone really know how the popuarion age and approval rate work? im guessing pop age to d owith overall health (delta health for entire empire) but think there must be some other factor. also, is approval rate the same with delta smiles (hap vs unhap)?.

and does it really matter lol, maybe ill slide up my culture bar

I think approval rate is determined by adding the number of happy faces in your empire to the number of unhappy faces, and then dividing the result by the number of happy faces - or healthy/unhealthy points in the case of life expectancy. Not sure though.

Either way, it has no effect on gameplay whatsoever as far as I know.
