Yeah, Night Couger gets my vote also!
I'd call it Futile Conga. (I guess thats why I'm not in charge of naming units )
Congealed err I mean Conceled Cougar and Creepy Cougar both kind of rock. Night Couger would be my third.
I've gotta nip this in the bud here: Cougar, not couger.
And I hate the elision 'gotta'. It's just lazy.
I also prefer not to start sentences with a conjunction

We’ve neglected talking about new city names for a while.
We have an immediate need for a name for our new city to be settled this turn (98)
I’d like to propose: Port of Mists
Our next town to be settled will be at location “West Gate” on the peninsula leading to Piffle.
I’d propose naming that town: Guardians Hold
Hope that gets the ball rolling!
(and I avoided any more “e” names… though I personally don’t find it that confusing… )
I was hoping to let our new Provost handle the naming of things from now on, but since he is on vacation this week and there is an immediate need, I will put my support on Port of Mists.
It has a nice ring to it, avoids the confusion that some faced with EE, and fits the location.
I know I'm not the Provost, but I thought I'd propose an idea:
All of our warriors were named after animals of the mighty family "Felidae".
Now the we are about to have Axemen pumping out every three turns, I propose we find a new class of animals to define this new class of unit. This will help to distinguish what type a particular unit is (hopefully keep confusion to a minimum)
Rodentia (axemen can cut down trees, like rodents!)
Personally I am for naming units based on thier proposed duties / region on the map.
I.E. "Mist Man" (I realize that is a bad name) Infers that this axeman will be around Port of Mists so When posting about him you can Visualize it.
On the Other Hand "Crazy Snake" could be anywhere.
I.E. "Gate Keeper" is pretty self explanatory as well.
But I am all for naming units anything, I just don't want to make another blunder
We have 2 Axemen without a name
1 City next turn that in the absence of another name will be called "West Gate"
Again, with the Axemen, I propose that we adhere to the 'Feline' theme of our other Melee units.
Axeman naming ideas:
I like them all, but I disapprove of the spelling of Krazy. Call me an old fart, but advertizing slang has no place in polite company
I like the idea of renaming WestGate to Sunset Fortress… in fact I like that a lot!
Then, as a corollary, we could name the EastGate location city something like Sunrise Stronghold (what's our character limit again?)
I also like the proposed Axemen names… but I'm with Peter on not liking misspelled words… you could say, I'm not krazy about them… (booo! Hiss!!)
How about "Knowing KodKod" ?
While I like Sunset Fortress, and without any objection will change the name next turn.
However In the future if we could have the names choosen sooner so that we can all get familiar with them in posting (even before founding)
Meaning that for the past 15 Turns I have been reporting on a West Gate, which is now going to be Sunset Fortress.
So with that said if we could have some names for:
Wool & Whales
sooner it would be much appreciated
For Clam Cove, Great Bay
For Wool & Whale, White Wash
Please Post Order in the Turn Orders term 6 thread so that I know which Axeman you wan to name what.
Personally I prefer name that relate the unit to where it is Example: Mist Man, Sunset Keeper
But that doesn't have to be the case.

1 Axeman in Immortal Keep.
There will be 1 more axeman arriving every 3 turns in Eternal Eye as well.
Right now we have-
Knowing KodKod --> Axemen in Immortal Keep
Mysterious Margay--> 1st Axemen in Eternal Eye
Snow leopard --> 2nd Axeman in Eternal Eye
As Memphus has requested, we can certainly try to name these cities now to reduce confusion for when we actually settle them.
