Destroy a Civlization?

Interestisning question, I will run a few tests.

Also do anyone know if the "restart civilisation" needs to be on if I want civs to be able to split?

It seems that once you destory a civ no replacement will appear, the game will pick the next civ in the list as a semi-existing one, you can acces thier map and probably give them units via events (had the game accepted the use of tribes not existing at the start of the scenario in the events file).
But they arent available in the civ list, you can play them whit cheat mode in the same way that you can set the human civ to barbarians whit cheat mode.

Interesting. But probably not very useful, if the events.txt won't allow their tribe name mentioned. If it would just ignore them, then it'll be a fine way to introduce new tribes in a scenario. When tribe A invents tech X or conquer city Y, then tribe B is destroyed, and tribe C enters the game with a massive army!

That would be a YES, as far as I know.
