Destructive artillery

Hello. I apologize for any mistakes, as I am writing through a translator. I really want to make the artillery more realistic. For example, when we destroy an enemy squad on cells with an improvement, the improvement is destroyed along with the squad. Which will give more realism in the late war, since artillery destroys all buildings where the enemy detachment is hiding. I saw this idea in the 4UC mod in relation to German guns. Defensive fortifications are destroyed there, and this can be extended to all tile improvements. My suggestion is to add this feature to all artillery in the game, starting with Howitzer.

Ranged pillaging does not exist yet as an actual mechanic. Some mods did it through a Lua mod trick.
Feel free to propose this to the VP Congress. Could make siege units useful when they're on the back of the pack, sure. But do you think those improvement tiles would be better if you pillage them directly so that your units can heal quickly when in battle?
 
Looting tiles directly is of course more effective in terms of healing the squad, my proposal is more to make the war more realistic. With this, it is possible to destroy the enemy's strategic resources without entering his territory. It would also be possible to give this function to aviation to destroy resources deep within the enemy. Thank you for the advice, I will suggest this to VP Congress
 
Just wanted to poke in and say that I like this idea a lot. I'm about to propose a few small ideas myself in the forum overall, but dunno how to make proposals to the VP Congress yet. I'd love to see this considered tho~

You can already do this (and more) with spies.
