Very simple idea I had - but beyond my abilities.
Right now, turning on "detailed city info" tells you which city in your empire is the leader in production, science or commerce with the relevant icons (
) in the same spot where religious symbols go.
Religious symbols of course can tell you whether, for example, Taoism is merely present or, with the use of a little star (just like when denoting a great specialist) whether the city is actually the Taoist holy city.
Could the same be applied to the detailed city information? A currently indicates that the city has the greatest scientific output in your empire - but could a little star be added to tell you if it has the greatest scientific output in the world?
This would require a graphic mod (adding the little star to the three icons - I'd assume not too hard) and something to determine when to use the "science capital" symbol. Of course, there must already be a python or xml file out there controlling when the icon is shown for a city's domestic lead.
Anyway, anyone have ideas on how to do it, or would like to take it up?
