Has anybody got an idea why the blackish background and red devils head for Religious unit?
Religious units are on their own layer now, so they get their own icon shape.
Not sure what part of the image is the devil icon. If you mean the black icons with the arrows, I believe they are indicators of in-coming religious pressure from other cities.
EDIT: NM I see it now. Never even noticed the shape of the outline.
Usual icon for polish religious is different... And normally background is not blackish...
That would be the new religious lenses. I advise you go read the patch notes
Thanks. It freaked me out.
Those are dove wings, not satanic ones.
I see a cat. And that makes it pretty weird.
If the shape were upside-down, then it would look like Kirby, but with pointy feet.
I see a devil shape for an enemy apostle, quite fitting but for your own?
Exactly that, a cat head with pointed ears.
It made me laugh a lot the first time i saw it, even thought i would have preferred a dog head since it's a well know fact God create men because dogs were feeling lonely (but he was tired which is why men is a failure)
Nope, it's the devil. Your Steam account is possessed.
The devil symbols tell you they are Heretics to Denouncing Venice.
Now I can no longer unsee it. It gazes back at me.
I got the impression that was religious (satanic) pressure against your religion (which is, of course, saintly). I noticed when I saw it there was another similar (but holy) icon appearing to show pressure from my (one true) religion. The nuts & bolts of how & why are beyond me, but I wasted a missionary trying to kill it. (Didn't work).
I see the devil looking icon for my own units as well. Thought it was odd.
It might be a Helloween prank or something. Otherwise it's just weird.
Of my own missionaries, I had one which is the "normal" icon and one with the devil icon. My only guess is it changed with an era.
