DG4 Discussion: Do you plan to participate?

I would like to, but like others my free time is limited.

Not conditions under the forums control, really. If I could have a role of limited involvement (like mayor) or one that doesn't require my participation on a regular (i.e. scheduled) basis, that would be better for me.

I would like to commit to being an appointed official or, if that is too much work, a mayor or just an active citizen. I didn't have any trouble voting on as many polls as I could. I would also like to try some creative history posts.

• If you're undecided, or not planning on participating in DG4, what things are pushing you away, and/or what things are missing that would lure you in?

I would like more threads like the Gorina celebrations. I didn't contribute to that thread, because it seemed like it was intended to glorify the great leaders of the game, and I didn't feel I qualified. I would like to try and post entries like that too.

  It is pretty much guaranteed. Unless I get in a plane crash and have to live on an island for four years.

  I hope to be a mayor/governor. Maybe run for an Executive position.

  yes. my primary concerns are lack of time and, above all, limited english skills.

  of course i would love more participation or game conditions that fits the level of participation, but i will go with whatever the majority wants.
  
  not beeing able to download the save, as occurred some times during the dg3, limits my abilities to participate.

  i'm interested in the current discussion of improving the structure of the game, and i like to be a small part of a large democracy.

Well, I suppose it has a lot to do with how the game runs. I've never played it before, it seems like fun but I won't know for sure until I try.

I think that for at least the first term I'll be an active citizen, get the hang of the game before I go for some office or other.
