i find the ai dialogues very amusing, esp when u are in bad relations with them or driving a bargain real hard.
the aztecs asked 'do u want my elder son as well' when i quote them super high prices to trade techs. the persians, at war with me, was saying 'a thousand curses to u and ur contemptable offer' or something. :)

They can also be humourous when you are in good relations with them. Here are a few examples...

Montezuma: "I will sacrifice 50 warriors for you."

Elizabeth: "I Elizabeth, ruler of far too many places to mention..." (especially funny when they are reduced to very few towns).

Gandhi: "How about some nice vegetarian curry?"

Sometimes when the AI offers to trade maps: "I'll show you mine if you show me yours." (so, so disturbing when it is said by an old fart like Catherine or Bismarck).

Extortion threats also have some humour...

Lincoln: "Don't think of this as a demand for tribute. Think of it as an offer for you to invest in world peace."

Bismarck: "You are an excellent boot-licker. Keep up the good work!"

Yup they're great :)

Nice to see Firaxis kept that old tradition :goodjob:
