did not know he launched!

Hello, I just started playing space race, now I had the Vikings that where slightly ahead of me in the race, I had my troops ready at the boarder to take over his capital once he launched...Then, the game said he had already won the game...
Is there away to be notified when he launches his ship?

I'm not sure if there's a pop up that shows if the AI has launched a Space ship or not, but you can look in F8 to see how many parts the AI has built. You can use to judge how much time you've got.

It's supposed to show you him launching and give text. But there are quite a few bugs.

Slo - check the Game log (top left) to see if a notification was given. maybe you just missed it because something exciting was happening on screen...?

Also, it seems sometimes the AI doesn't even launch at all after completing their space-ship.

Now I REALLY wish there was a way to tell this ahead of time.. would be the best exploit ever....

If by "this", you mean how can you find out he launched... you can, check if the AI has finished all the parts in F8.

How to know if the AI will bug-up and decide NOT to launch, and just leave his ship sitting on the platform.

This has been a known problem since at least the days of warlords.
