The food/prod numbers support the idea that someone else just finished building a workboat (someone before us in the turn order, team 1 or 2) and has changed their worked tiles also. I imagine their city build queue will mirror ours until we get that first settler out.

Who can get it done faster/settle a better site?

YEAH! :) Just comes late. :(

    @UU:
No MTDG so far has been decided before the era of cavalry and galleons.

has anyone ever been eliminated before then?

I know that in both of the Civ III MTDG, teams were badly threatened before then.

I think one team in the civ3 demogame died early. Was it TNT?

PTWDG: 1 team died to a sword rush (nothing they could do about it, they had ****e land, as it was a rnadomly gneerated map) and another died after they invaded a team with about 12 military units with 25 Immortals (but who were awesome and conquered them in 20 turns).
C4DG: one team died to one cho-ko-nu after the chinese team oracled machinery after popping MC from a hut (at least, I think they poped MC), and another died to a catapult stack after getting choked completely.

Don;t know about any other games.

C4DG ==> i was the classical oracle slingshot to Burecracy. our economy over powered the other teams.
Cho-ku-nu the UU was never used...
We then did our first war usign the draft (rifles) and steammed rolled out oppenent with a carefulyl calculated and exectued 3 pronged attack. at that point our land was double anyone else's and the MM economy was too powerful to stop.

The first C3CMTDG here had TNT attempt an early rush that ended up killing them instead of their target.

Ahh the good old days:lol:. Those MW's sure cleaned up the immortals.

As for the demographics nothing jumps out ant the moment. Those who have been running food at 5 should be getting their second pop point soon.

I am awfully busy pre-xmas, so cannot dedicate as much time to this as initially planned.

Just from the screenshot over in the general discussion thread (namely the in-game score) you can see the following:

    Team Saturn: 32 (initial points) + 6 (ancient tech) + 5 (pop) = 43
    Cavaleiros & SANCTA & Kazahkstan: 32 (init pts.) + 6 (tech) = 38
    Mad Scientists: 32 (init pts.) + 5 (pop) = 37

Turn 11 and the Mad Scientists have not yet researched their first tech. They are either stalling research in favor of growth and production or are aiming for some expensive tech.

Mediation or Polytheism should have fallen by now if Mad Scientist went for an early religion.
Does the religion advisor state any religions?

If they started with Mining I would say they are goinf ro BW first.

The f7 screen shows when a religion is founded even if we don't know who has founded it

Do we have the information we need from the turnplayers to calculate stuff and are just waiting on crunching the info (due to being busy and such)

Or is there more info (Screenshots and such) that we could be getting from our turn player?

We could certainly get more information -- but I think that part of the reporting process is the shared responsibility of the Shogun and the Three Daimyo whom, once elected, should provide the various information to which they have been appointed to report.

Holy cow - how does someone have 15,000 soldiers? What tech do they research to get that?

ok - BW is 8000K, so someone has BW.

hmm - to get to 15K, BW + soldier = 9K. Wheel + Hunting or AH gives 6K, or Rax + 2 warriors + hunting or AH...
