I personally prefer Digital since it is much more descriptive, but I guess it's a matter of taste.

BTW: fence has been removed. You're either with us or against us.

Digital is more tolerant of bad conditions and easier to read.

My preferences change based on the location. For mostly aesthetic reasons.

The clock in my car: digital
My alarm clock: digital
The clock on my laptop: digital
My wristwatch: analog
Clock on the wall: analog

Analog can work as a compass in a pinch.

I prefer an analog watch for fancy occasions, and digital most of the time. My analog watch hasn't worked in 4 years though, and I haven't been to a fancy enough event since then to warrant getting a really nice looking watch.

I think I's prefer an analog wall clock at home, since it is easier to get a general idea of what time it is without needing to put on glasses or contacts and since I'd usually have my watch on if I'd put those on already.

Don't care, because I can actually read time, and have little nostalgia for a clock. Imagine that.

Meanwhile I should also ask people whether they like our current alphabet characters, or some sort of Morse Code or Binary, just because it looks "nice" and "fancy".

Bad comparison. Alphabet and hieroglyphs/cuneiform, while overused, would be a better analogy for this example.

Analog, because it is easier to see the time. I have to think for a fraction of a second with digital watches. With analog watches I can just look at the hands and see the time without thinking.

"4:33"

Aw man, it's so hard to figure out what time it is!

It depends on where it's being used...

For Wrist Watch and Wall Clock though I prefer Analog.

Alarm Clock, Car, and most other things Digital.

Yeah, it takes far more time figuring out what I associate with that time(dinner, bedtime, night, morning, afternoon etc.) than with analog clocks.

4.33 is for me the middle of the night by the way.
