UPDATE2: The game has now ended, with a solo win by Germany (Niklas). UPDATE: We have a game! Front page (courtesy of LightFang): Overview: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomacy_%28board_game) Official Manual: http://www.diplomacy-archive.com/resources...s/2000AH4th.pdf Next Orders Due: Never! Countries: Austria-Hungary: Nuclear Kid--ELIMINATED England: Thlayli France: LightFang--ELIMINATED Germany: Niklas Italy: MjM Russia: Sheep (up to Spring 1903), then Nuclear Kid (up to Fall 1903), then TheBladeRoden--ELIMINATED Turkey: Human-Slaughter -- Current Turn: Awaiting Winter 1908 Moves Current Map: Spoiler : Animated Map of All Moves: Spoiler Spring 1901-Fall 1903 : My first game seemed to do pretty well, until it died pretty abruptly. But there certainly seemed to be interest. So, is there interest in starting another game of diplomacy? If I get 7 interested players who are able to send orders every 48 hours, I'll start another game. If you're interested, PM me your country preferences, in order from 1-7. I'm also open to restarting the last game, if there's interest... For reference, the first thread is here.
I would be partial to a new game because, hmm, the last game turned out kind of badly for the Archduke.
I would like to play Prefrences are as follows: R/T/E/G/F/A. Mainly Russia as its the nation I have the least experience with.
Given that Germanicus12: 1) didn't even post in this thread; 2) mispelled the name of the thread in his PM; and 3) listed the following countries: as his preferences, I'm not going to accept him. @Thlayli: I need more than just a first choice. Sorry.
He said PM him 7 choices. did you happen even to read the second paragraph of the first post. Im gonna check out the first thread and well see If I join.
To answer your first question, no! Seven preferences are confusing and heathenlike...we seemed to do just fine with 1 preference in DipNES 1.
Plus it doesnt matter what happened before it is what the Mod wants. and last time I checked you were supposed o listen to the Mod. Jal - can i get a link to Rules on Diplomacy
