Direct X Issue

[achtungbaby]

I have installed CTP2 and every time that I try to start the game I get an error message that the game will not start without DirectX. The install prompted for a DirectX install which I did, no luck, I have even downloaded from Microsoft (7 and 8) and still have the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.
