[R&F] DirectX 12 speed improvement

    One thing that has been commented on was the processing speed with DX12.

    I have tracked the AI benchmarks since the first patch. For the most part, I have seen average late game turn times on my machine hover around 21-23 seconds on average. (ultra settings, GE1070)

    On the test I ran yesterday with R&F, average late game turn times are now in the 15 second range -- a 25% improvement.

    Well done Firaxis!

    Have others seen sizeable improvement, esp. in the late game?

    Played a game yesterday, standard size through to the end with Science Victory, and end game turns felt like they went much faster. I wasn't specifically timing them, but I'd say 15-20 secs.
