I disconnected my laptop last week and took it on a trip, but didn't use it. Then I came back home and reconnected it and now Steam and Civ V is weird.
This happened before, so I uninstalled Steam, Civ, and the Civ SDK and then re-installed them.
But this time, it's still weird:
1. When I double-click the Civ V shortcut icon, it takes me to Steam, not the game. I have to press "Play" to start the game. This is despite the fact that I made a right-clicked to make a shortcut for DirectX 11.
2. When I double-click the Civ SDK, it says "Loading" and then "Error".
3. When I load a new mod game with prefixed starting locations, it gives me a random location.
What is going on?
