The title of the thread is what?
Well obviously, but you are talking about something happening this week?
Confusing. One would expect a discussion about DLC coming out and instead he'll get a discussion about dancing bananas and Alexander having the worst character model.
Yes. The DLC is coming out.
Is there some kind of proof of this somewhere outside of this thread?
The hidden achievements being released last Tuesday, which has always been an indicator that the DLC is close to being released.
I don't know, but it's Eagle Pursuit's prediction. His predictions are almost always suspiciously accurate.
Oh okay, so it's still speculation. At least someone could give us a helpful response, thanks!
Damn Eagle, that's you put in your place, 184 pages of discussion and you haven't managed to give a single helpful response
Yeah it's worth reading 184 pages to glean such wisdom...
Indeed, we're not all part of this little club.
That's why I am in favor of not starting the next one until we see actual qa testing.
I have sympathy for not wanting to read the whole thread, but the relevant information was repeated only two pages ago. It's not that hard to suss through.
Ok, while we wait, playing a 1 city Kongo YnAEMP TSL giant earth.
Only going to eat luxury and bonus resources I have improved or traded for.
edit: was going to trade for coffee, alas, no coffee on this map. So I will capitulate a wee wee bit.
I would add:
...Third civ or alt leader of SEA or Africa = ???...
Additionally we know that the African Civ is not Zulu.
We have the "Proboscis" hint, maybe a nose of a leader or more likely a War Elephant sound.
Conclusion: The African Civ is Carthage
with the first leader: Hanno the Navigator
and the second leader: Hannibal
that is nearly sure. I am a bit disappointed because it is not the Minoan Civilization
Awkward if you can only get stuff like gypsum and mercury... please don't try eating those!
Qin Shi Huang drank mercury believing that it would make him immortal. He ended up dying.
Ugh, I've gotta say that's depressing. I really wish Firaxis would just look at some of the popular workshop mods and take note.
Presumably much sooner than he otherwise would have. I can't help but feel that Qin Shi Huang's alchemists knew exactly what they were doing when they gave him mercury and arsenic in "immortality" potions.
I think they look... for example, in CiV, several lua api that were added in the final patch looked suspiciously like whoward's picknmix mod additions. Which is legit, according to the EUL agreement as far as I know.
