Don't know where to put my question—sorry if this is in response to something completely different ( maybe someone can move it… )

I have Civ 5 on a Mac—I just used the in-game DLC and got a number of extras…

Anyone know how I'll be billed??

Is this the steam version or the App Store version?

It's the Mac version (from the App store)—on the same screen where you choose Single or Multiplayer there is a link for DLS—going there, I clicked a number of additional scenarios—It seemed to accept my choices; but, I didn't see any billing info………

My guess is it is treated as an In-app purchase, billed using whatever is tied to your App Store account, such as Apple Pay or a credit card associated with App Store billing.

Great news! Would I be correct to assume that there never was an upgrade charge? Good to hear that the App Store might be catching up (at least a bit) to the Steam version (in terms of no-cost official DLC).

Well, I never noticed an update charge; so…

    I must assume you're right
