I've heard it said hundreds of times before, that homosexuals aren't born homosexual, but in fact choose to be sexually attracted to members of the same sex. I've heard this being said, not by homosexuals, but by Christians. Homosexuals insist that they are simply born that way, but Christians seem to know better. How? Were they once homosexuals themselves? Do they have intimate knowledge of homosexual behaviour, gathered through in depth undercover infiltration of the homosexual community? Are they psychic? Or are homosexuals simply too emotionally stunted to know how they feel?

Christians know no more than that which is in leviticus x and Romans Y or Corinthians z, generally and they've perverted that. Yes they can comment, but they do so at the risk of looking increasingly more stupid in the face of science, and actually fudging meaning from their tomes where it is completely out of context, ask a historical theologian this question and they will eat you up and spit you out. Ask a Christian and the sheeple that they are, they will produce nothing, talk about nothing and say nothing.

To be frank they are a source of amusement in the same way creationists are, living in the past, bigoted and senseless.

That's just my opinion backed up by reality though, as much as that is worth to a "believer".

First of all, you don't need to know everything about how something is, or become the supreme expert on it in order to form an opinion on that subject. I can come up with example after example.

Second, whether you're "born gay" or not is really rather irrelevant to the moral nature of homosexual acts. Meaning, I don't know whether people are gay because of nature or nurture or some combination or something else we haven't thought of, and it doesn't really matter. That doesn't change my opinion of homosexual acts as morally wrong.
