Do I do this the same way, or is it different?

I was looking through the forums, when I saw a downloadable unit, The Lawyer. It removes corporations. Anyway, if I want to download this unit, is it the same way as with a patch, or do I need to do something different?

I would search for guides in the Tutorials forum. Asking in the unit's thread and looking for a possible readme with installation instructions wouldn't be bad either.
