Classic question I think, craploads of romantic movies and songs are written about this cheesy "love at first sight" thing. What do you think of it? I don't so much believe in love at first sight with my heart or anything like that. I wouldn't really be willing to argue the case for it. But if I had to bet on it, I think it probably exists, simply because a lot of people think it's happened to them. I know this is often attriubuted to "lust at first sight," happening to naive people. I think though that if your first thought when you see somebody is "I want to know them," as opposed to "I want to rent a cheap hotel room with them for a couple hours," then it's not really correct to define those thoughts as "lust." I personally would not want to fall in love at first sight. I'd much rather fall in love with somebody I already know, trust, and love as a friend. I can't see what's so great about falling in love with a stranger.
