Interesting question, and the answer is no. Shouldn't the sane option be listed as no?

Thank you for saving me the time to post a Walter Payton video. I will add to that with a video of Gayle Sayers, one of the most amazing running backs to watch:

Y'all on the other side of the pond have a much cooler name for it.

Perhaps I'll have to start calling it "gridiron" as well.

    My favourite sport is Hockey.
My 2nd favourite sport is football.
My 3rd favourite sport is football.

I refer to football and football as football, and if you don't get it its your own fault. ;)

    (american>non-american)

and if the 'u' in favourite and the Hockey didn't tell you, NOT AMERICAN

I prefer rugby, gridiron is just too slow... though not as painfully slow as baseball, or even worse: cricket :vomit:

I call both american football AND soccer simply football, and assume that whoever I am speaking with understands.

Do you ever post anything worthwhile? Ever?

Oh, and I suppose I do like watching American football. All the time. I get into NFL and college about equally and I can honestly admit that I've put way to much emotion into how my teams do :p

I don't really know the rules, and it has minimal exposure here, but yeah, it's fun to watch.

He was a great one, alright. When Payton started road racing after retiring from the NFL, he used to wear a skin-tight firesuit, which is unheard of because you want it loose for comfort and to provide a layer of air between you and the fire. But to Walter, any uniform had to be skin tight to show off that physique.
