I hate shaving, so I frequently have a 3- to 5 day beard, until the itching gets too annoying. Also, I look at last 5 years older when bearded, and at 27, that isn't a good thing .

Well, I have a nice chin goatee, at any rate. About two winters ago I decided it would be fun to grow one (although at that time I was too young to grow proper facial hair). I now have nice fuzzy chin that I can stroke as I lean back in my chair and give the impression I am in deep thought. Note I use "impression."

I hate shaving so I trim it short when I do shave, then let it grow until I get around to shaving again. Sometimes I let it get a couple few inches long.

My beard is rader od, it is dark, allmost black, blond AND a bit red. But mostley blond.

edit: I started a thred here ones to ask the people here if I sould get one. Most said yes and I did.
