After 23 years of military service, shaving everyday is completely ingrained. So, no, no beard for me.

Although, after I retired, I tried no shaving. Lasted for almost a week. The itching drove me crazy!

But I DO have a mustache. Started growing it in 1980 to look a little bit older, so the people working for me wouldn't think I was a "wet-behind-the-ears" Lieutenant.

Back in my 2nd year of university, I used to grow one each finals week, but it made me look like i was in my thirtys so I got rid of it each time.

If I don't shave for some days a dark beard will show up. I don't like shaving, but since I dislike beard even more I do it in a (almost) daily basis. Sometimes, in the vacations, I am so lazy that let both my beard an my hair grow(my hair more than my beard, of course )

I shave my face every morning; we can't have beards in ROTC but it really doesn't matter because all I can grow at the moment is a patchy set of small hairs on my chin, sideburn area, and the area above my lip. I really never foresee having a beard anytime in the next 30-50 years anyway because I plan on going to the Naval Academy after high school and being in the Navy for about 30-40 years. After retiring from the Navy, I plan to run for a spot in the House or Senate and eventually work my way towards presidency.

Beards seem kinda unfortable and stuff can stuck in one. However, for guys, it can remove your date's makeup for her, so that's a plus.
