Kyocera Phantom, it's my only phone at the moment, mobile or land, and I'm perfectly satisfied with it. Costs around $50/month, and when you look at the free long distance and portability, I don't see why land lines are worth it.
Speaking of games on phones, my current tetris score is a little over 3,000,000, with a line count of 241, and time of 76 minutes. This is a little deceiving however, as the score has rolled over once, the time twice and the line count three times. As you can see, phones have many uses other than for talking!
Yes, and I don't have a regular phone. Cell phones are cheaper when you rarely use them. I hardly ever carry it with me, it mostly just sits on the counter.
Originally posted by Yaniv Hopefully, one day, we won't need cell phones anymore. Instead we'll have those Star Trek "Name Tags" where you just click and talk.
Interestingly, I performed a little experiment to see what the range of our phone was. I was able to walk to the end of our block (two houses down) and still receive signals.
