Good to see some fellow iced earth fans here.

I also listen to some symphonic/operatic metal when playing usualy. I seem to save the more extreme metal for different style games.

Lately it has been music that is at opposite ends of the spectrum: either classical (especially Mozart's 40th) or late 80s pop.

I listed to the Civ music when I'm in the middle age, I think it's the only age with good music, and there's even a little clip of music from Civ II (Nostalgic) otherwise I listed to CD's on media player

Geesh.... no one mentioned Pink Floyd.... I must be getting old or something.... :p

P.S. Although, during modern wars, nothing beats a good dose of "Master of Puppets"..... Tori Amos is good for the building phases (especially "Under The Pink" (Bells For Her)).... then there's classic Yes and Moody Blues......

If I am at home by myself, I will listen to anything from the Preservation Hall Jaz Band to Megadeth. When she is home, I get to listen to her sing on the karaeoke (sp?) machine I just bought her. She might not be a great singer, but at least it gives me a few hours to play Civ. I think it is a good trade.

I just throw in an mp3 disk into my dvd player, and whatever happens to be on it, that's what I listen to. none of those disks are marked with what they are.

Hah! Der Blutharsch would be the perfect soundtrack for a bloody world conquest. I always listen to Death In June, Boyd Rice, Blood Axis, Tangerine Dream, Neptune Towers, Lord Wind, or Wagner.
