i should probably clarify on the clothing one that i don't mean i buy things because it's just a certain brand, but go to them first when i want new clothes because they usually succeed.

I do have brand loyalty to brands that have proved that they provide good quality products. I have found one brand of butter that is better than all others I've tried when making baked desserts, so I just use that one brand of butter.

I almost always buy Ecco shoes (6 pairs now i think) and regret if i get something else, firstly because they're most comfortable i've been using, and they're quite durable (i walk a lot).

Other than i really don't buy for brand.. but lot of my clothes are from same manufacturers, because i like certain kind of things and they happen to make them.

Oh yeah, that. I love my N95-2, but didn't pay for it myself. I guess the preference for Nokia phones comes from the fact that i'm used to their UI.

I get my parts only from Newegg. No one else considering there aren't really any stores around here since CompUSA closed. But as for the specific brands of those parts I have no loyalty for. I'll go with an AMD or an Intel if they're the best bang for the buck.

I tend to buy certain brands of food alot as I like them not because they're brand name foods as such. Thye're still relativly cheap anyway.

I used to like Sony electronics alot and hade Sony stereo/TV/VHS/DVD etc but I bought a Samsung 42'plasma as it was alot cheaper and I couldn't tell the difference in quality etween that and the more expensive TVs.

Any allegience to one brand is an unintentional result of my despise for their competitor.

I go for AMD on purpose to prevent a intel monopoly which could really raise prices for everyone.
