Had the immense fun of using Gibbon's Impersonate Leader on my dearly beloved neighbor, Auric. Left his economy a tattered mess, his people starving, and his army stranded in the middde of a jungle. But even though he was an AI, I couldn't resist adding insult to injury. I went through his cities and renamed them with names like "Midget Paradise" and "Moron City." So I was wondering. When impersonating your foes, what do you do with city names?

Unfortunately xienwolf, I don't think it lets you use names that long.

I'd probably be subtler and put such names in Latin.

I never use Impersonate leader, because the AI that takes over my civ thends to mess me up at least as much as I can mess them up. Can the spell please be changed to play like a hotseat game, letting you control both civs?

While I have not used Gibbon yet, I doubt I would give the cities silly names. In other games I've usually kept things utilitarian, so I'd just rename cities things like "Keep this!" and "Raze me!"

When playing SMAC, I would rename some of my cities things like "Denied!" or "In Your Face" when I beat the AI for a prime city location by one turn. A friend would rename captured cities names like "My Last Brain Cell" or "My Teddy Bear" because it amused her to have the AI begging for "My Last Brain Cell" in the diplo menu.

im agreed on that, i would never let the AI control my empire, ive played many multiplayer games where i left for a few turns leaving control to the ai and came back, and i gotta tell you, they destroy you in everyway they can.. cities with unhappiness, changing civics, disbanding units, get important units killed, changing cottages to farms or forts, starting wars, giving away techs and resources, changing religions... im convinced theyd hurt you more than you can hurt them (since several options are disabled for you in control of their civ), not to mention that theres likely other civs who wont be affected while you and 1 ai screw each other over
