That's quite true - you can't prove He doesn't exist any better then you can that He does exist.

Speaking from a Christian viewpoint (because of course, "Do you believe in God" could lead to several other religions/beliefs), here's something to consider from a famous philosopher (and Mathematician, of course) - Blaise Pascal:

Pascal challenges the unbeliever to believe in God, despite the lack of proof, because of the infinite gain (heaven) that accompanies belief if Christianity is true. There is little for the believer to lose if Christianity is false. On the other hand, there is much to lose if Christianity is true and one fails to believe (the loss of heaven).

It's not a choice between Christianity or nothing, it is between a whole slew of religions that exist now or that you can imagine and nothing.

I picked other, i don't know if god does or not exist only because it can not be proven. IMO to say that for a supreme being not to exist because there is not any scientific proof is somewhat of a folly, there is not that much scientific proof that explains why we exist, at least not enough for anyone to be able to say exactly how we came into existance.

I said maybe. The way I see it, even if there are only extremely low chances that God exist, the universe is still infinate and all things are possible. I see it impossible to prove one way or the other.
